The USA Carp team is excited to announce their attendance at the 2024 Carp Fishing World Championship, which will be held this year in the absolutely stunning area of Nasice, Croatia, organized by the Croatian Sport Fishing Federation, hosted by the local Saran Sport Angling Association from Nasice.

It is expected for 35 countries to attend this event and compete for their nation. The USA Carp team is so very proud to be able to attend this competition based in a city dedicated to sports. Nasice is known for having more than 50 sports clubs and associations dedicated to promoting sporting events, fishing and the rich cultural history of the land.

This competition will be held September 4, through September 7th 2024, with our US Team traveling from the dates of August 31st until September 9th. The team will fish in 3 pairs of 2 anglers each, 1 pair in each of sectin “A”, section “B” and Section “C”. The sections will be spread across Lapovac Lake and Sandor.

The competition will begin at 12:30pm 9/4 and ends at 12:30pm 9/4 with the competitors being stationary on the bank from beginning until end of the tournament. Prior to competition each Country will walk the town with their flag flying high in pride and their national anthem will be played. After the tournament we are treated to a Gala Dinner with fine local fare and tasty Croatian dishes and desserts while homage is paid to the winning nations and pairs of the Carp Fishing World Championship. It is very humbling and exciting times and we look forward to sharing our experience with all of you.
