Originally from California, where all things outdoors are fostered at an early age, Christine Landed in Indiana later in life yearning to get back to what she loved. FISHING. A quick trip to the local bait and tackle store amazed her with a vast majority of gear being “carp” related. Thinking that catching a “big goldfish” would be fun, off she went in pursuit and there her carp fishing passion was born. After catching her very first carp, a whopping 6lbs of fighting demon on the end of her line, she knew her spare time would be a thing of the past, and it was. Found on the tournament scene by Coaches Bogdan and Mihai 15 years ago, they decided to take her under their guidance and teach her how to be a force to be reckoned with on the tournament scene. Countless hours, days, weeks, MONTHS spent together teaching her everything from casting, rig tying, watercraft and so much more she emerged on the tournament scene with several top 5 placements and a respect level amongst anglers and tournament directors alike. Christine has a backround in Business Management and Psychology, making her an obvious choice for leadership roles. Honing and finishing Christine off in preparation to Captain the US Team was Lee Young, former Captain of the team and current Captain of the newest addition to US Angling, Street Fishing.
