SPORT TEAM LEADERSHIP
Leading Teams. Supporting Athletes. Representing the United States.
USAngling Sport Team Leadership oversees governance and daily operations while supporting athletes in every angling discipline. Leaders work with athletes, coaches, and volunteers to grow amateur sport, promote fair competition, and represent the United States internationally. Together, they create safe, fair, and athlete-focused competitions and promote honesty and respect for the sport.
Sport Team Leadership Structure
USAngling uses a two-part leadership model to balance governance, administration, and competition management.

For example, a Team Operations leader might coordinate travel arrangements, schedule practice sessions, and ensure equipment is ready before a major tournament. They may also help athletes navigate event logistics, address unexpected challenges on competition day, and support the team throughout the event.
