One of our pairs of incredible coaches is Bogdan Bucur, fondly referred to as “BoJo” by the Carp Team. While spending his early childhood in the ever beautiful country of Romania, his father and countrymen fostered a love of sports fishing in his heart and soul that transcends any and all else. Bogdan has a true competitive nature that absolutely drives him to be the best at anything he puts his mind to and carp fishing is no different. After moving to the USA and naturalizing here, Bogdan pursued his love of this sport by joining forces with fellow carp fisherman, friends and coach Mihai to spearhead creating undeniably some of the best carp fishing bait to hit the US market. While attending just about every carp tournament the US has to offer Bogdan and fellow Coach Mihai made quite the name for themselves on the US carp fishing tournament circuit, claiming many 1st through 3rd placements and procuring enough trophies and accolades to prove without a doubt, he is worthy and the team is lucky to have him as a guiding force. Did I mention casting skills? Bogdans casting distance and abilities are truly remarkable, and must be seen to appreciate.
