In order to be considered for USA Surf Casting’s 2025/26 team, athletes must achieve all of the following while competing in an official surf casting tournament(s) organized by Carolina Surf Casters Association (VA, NC, SC), SurfCast USA (MD, VA), and/or Shore Fishing & Casting Club International (TX)…

Men’s Team

• Record a cast of at least 775’ (236.22 meters) in the 100g, 125g, and 150g sinker categories; record a cast of at least 750’ (228.6 meters) in the 175g category.
• Record a cast of 800’ (243.84 meters) or longer in at least one weight category.

Women’s Team

• Record a cast of at least 450’ (137.16 meters) in all weight categories: 75g, 100g and 125g.
• Record a cast of 500’ (152.40 meters) or longer in at least one weight category.

Athletes who achieve the above requirements will become eligible for consideration to participate on the 2025/26 team and will be contacted by Program Director Ryan Lambert.
