The USA Fly Fishing Youth Team is set to travel to Vyšší Brod, Czech Republic to participate in the 21^st FIPS-Mouche World Youth Fly Fishing Championship. Representing the United States are Blake Hall (Virginia), Justin Hardie (Virginia), Kage Kossler (Oregon), Landon Cook (Pennsylvania), Lawson Braun (North Carolina), and Max Logan (Colorado).

This team has four veteran anglers who won gold in last year’s World Championship held in Bosnia. Coupled with the unique skillset of its newest members, this 2024 team, coached by Josh Miller and managed by Jess Westbrook, is ready to compete at the highest level on the global stage!

Opening ceremonies of the 2024 World Youth Fly Fishing Championship begin August 11^th. The first session begins on Monday, August 12^th. For five consecutive days, anglers from 10 countries will fish 3-hour long catch-and-release sessions each morning. Closing ceremonies will take place after the final session on Friday, August 16^th.
