Lindsay Szofran serves as Team Manager of the USA Fly Fishing Women’s Team, bringing decades of competitive experience and technical expertise to guide and support the national program. A founding member of the team, she combines leadership with firsthand championship experience, helping athletes perform at their best on the world stage.

Szofran has represented the United States at every Women’s World Fly Fishing Championship, earning multiple podium finishes, including team gold at the 2025 World Championship. Her deep knowledge of trout Spey, steelhead, euro-nymphing, and lake tactics informs both training and competition strategy, making her a trusted mentor for teammates at every level.

Within USAngling, Szofran fosters athlete development, strengthens team cohesion, and champions conservation of the waters that sustain the sport, exemplifying dedication, skill, and leadership both on and off the water.
