Pat Weiss’s first competition was the international America’s Cup in 2010, and since then he has fished multiple competitions in both the US and abroad. He has the distinction of being a competitor in eight Adult World Fly Fishing championships, two of which resulted in team medals. Pat currently serves as a competing athlete for both the US Adult and US Master’s fly fishing teams.

Pat lives in Port Matilda PA with his wife, Karen and works as a Fisheries Biologist. When not fishing, or driving himself crazy with the never-ending search for a better leader formula, he can be found hunting, planting trees, or looking for mushrooms.
