Recently diagnosed (by his wife) as pathologically obsessed with fly fishing, JC began ardently fly fishing in 2019 shortly before retiring from the US Army. Living in San Antonio, TX necessitates that JC is constantly on the move, traveling across the US to compete and refine his skills.

Outside of fly fishing, JC works as a software reverse engineer to allegedly help pay for his daughter’s law school tuition but mostly to support his fly fishing habit. If not on the water, he is probably in the kitchen attempting to be the next ‘Iron Chef’ but more than likely he is just trying to convince his grandson to go fishing with him.
