Glade Gunther has been a fly fisherman for 35 years. Glade started fishing with US Fly Fishing team members Lance Egan and Devin Olsen in 2007, where he learned the values of competitive tactics in advancing his angling skills. Since then, Glade has been heavily involved in the organization of USA Fly Fishing for more than a decade, and was selected as President and captain of the USA adult team in 2023. He has been both a coach and competitor in multiple World Fly Fishing Championships.

In addition to fly fishing, Glade is an avid collector of fossils and works in the composites materials business as a global market manager. He currently lives with his family in Utah, where he gets to fish some of the country’s best trout water.
