Raleigh, North Carolina – The United States Surf Casting Team has finalized their roster for the 2026 FIPS-Mer Long Casting of Sea Weights World Championship. This year’s team, headed by Ryan Lambert, will retain Conner Brown and Dan Nassiff. To round out the lineup, Will Nash of Corpus Christi, TX was qualified, recruited, and is stepping up as the team’s fourth member.

Nash is an avid salt water fisherman, former military, and one of the top surf casters in the United States. In the 2000s, Will claimed the United States casting records for all sinker weight classes from former champion Tommy Farmer, and to this day holds the US record for the longest 100 gram sinker cast.

Other new faces in the administration of the team include former US surf casting champion Tommy Farmer of North Carolina who will be the organization president. Carlos Gonzalez, former Marine and owner of Texas Surf Masters, has entered the role of Vice President, and Virginia’s Matt Deschenes, owner of Reel Kustom Reels, will be the team manager and offer technical equipment expertise.
