USAngling to Host FIPSed IV 2025 Street Fishing World Championship in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Green Bay, WI – USAngling is proud to announce that the FIPSed IV 2025 Street Fishing World Championship will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA, along the scenic Fox River. This premier international event, sanctioned by the International Federation of Sport Fishing in Fresh Water (FIPSed), will bring together the world’s top urban anglers for a one-of-a-kind competition in the heart of the city.
The Host Communities of Green Bay (World Championship Headquarters), De Pere, and Allouez, WI, USA, welcome all World Street Fishing Nations Teams, Media, Partners, and Sponsors to the shoreline of the Fox River. This is a thriving urban waterway, containing a variety of fish species, supported by communities that embody mid-western hospitality. USAngling looks forward to providing each of you with the World Championship Fishing memories of a lifetime.
Scheduled for October 20-27, 2025, the event will feature elite teams from across the globe casting their lines from the walkways, bridges, and boardwalks of Green Bay’s dynamic riverfront. The competition will showcase the fast-growing sport of street fishing, which combines the technical skill of competitive angling with the accessibility and energy of urban environments.
Fishing will be along two sectors. Sector A – City of Green Bay, WI, along CityDeck, along the downtown riverfront promenade along the edge of the Fox River. Sector B – City of De Pere and Village of Allouez, WI, USA. De Pere is located 7 Km S of Green Bay, and co-hosts Sector B shoreline, with access via the Fox River Trail. The City of De Pere is a dynamic, forward-thinking community on the banks of the historic Fox River. Sector B runs through Downtown De Pere, home to scenic beauty, historic architecture, unique shops, contemporary restaurants, exciting entertainment, and vibrant attractions. The Village of Allouez also co-hosts Sector B shoreline and Fox River Trail, running N from De Pere to Green Bay. Having grown from the place where Claude Allouez pulled his canoe from the Fox River in 1669, Allouez is now a bustling village of proud residents and thriving businesses.
Volunteers can join US Angling as we host the Street Fishing World Championship Teams from Nations across the Globe on October 20-26, 2025.
