US Youth Fly Fishing Team to Compete
in 2025 World Championship
Top US youth anglers to represent the country on home waters in Idaho Falls, Idaho
Idaho Falls, ID – The US Youth Fly Fishing Team is set to assemble in Idaho to compete in the 22nd FIPS-Mouche World Youth Fly Fishing Championship.
This team returns to the global stage with 5 anglers who won team gold in the 2024 World Championship held in the Czech Republic. Coached by Josh Miller and managed by Jess Westbrook, this team is competing for a three-peat team gold medal!

Opening ceremonies of the 2025 World Youth Fly Fishing Championship take place at the Museum of Idaho on Saturday, July 12th. The first session begins on Monday, July 14th. For five consecutive days, anglers from 8 countries will fish 3-hour long catch-and-release sessions each day. The competition takes place in the region considered to be the Golden Triangle of Fly Fishing as the anglers will fish waters in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. Closing ceremonies will take place after the final session on Friday, July 18th.
