Team USA Saltwater Kayak Fishing is excited to announce the 3rd Regional Qualifier in the 2025 Regional Qualifier Series. 

The stage is set for beautiful, sunny San Diego Bay California April 26th-27th with the “Battle On The Bay”. The top 10 anglers from this San Diego Qualifier will receive an invite to USAngling’s National Championship hosted August 9th in Pompano Beach Florida. 

From the National Championship, the top anglers will be then selected to represent the USA in future World Championships and Pan American Championships. The next World Championship is slated for September 2025 in Italy. This is how you get on Team USA!!!

San Diego is set to deliver a top notch 2 day kayak fishing tournament featuring cash payouts, great anglers, good fishing, and tasty food options for the competitors. The tournament will be a catch, video, and release format with points awarded per species. Spotted Bay Bass, Halibut, Croaker, and Corvina are just a few of the bay species than can be caught. Currently Team USA Saltwater Kayak Fishing has hosted 2 Regional Qualifiers and has qualified 20 athletes from Texas and Maui to compete in the 2025 National Championship. Below is a list of the remaining 2025 Regional Qualifiers and the date for the National Championship.

San Diego, California – April 26th-27th 
Pompano Beach, Florida – June 7th
Ocean City, Maryland – June 21st-22nd
Depoe Bay, Oregon – July 26th 
Nationals: Pompano Beach, Florida – August 9th
