Tess Weigand is an accomplished fly fisher and a founding member of the U.S. Women’s Fly Fishing Team. With over a decade of guiding experience for wild trout in central Pennsylvania and southwest Montana, Tess has honed an elite skillset grounded in both precision and deep ecological knowledge. She has proudly represented the United States at world championships in Norway, British Columbia, the Czech Republic, and most recently, Idaho, where she achieved a career milestone by earning Team Gold and an Individual Gold Medal at the 2025 World Championship on home waters.

Driven by a lifelong love for the sport, Tess is especially known for her expertise in entomology, helping anglers connect not just with trout, but with the complex, beautiful world of aquatic invertebrates.
