Roger Bartels was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL and has spent his entire life fishing. He grew up fishing the Banks of the Bahamas, Florida Keys, and all the waters surrounding home from the Atlantic Ocean to the canals and lakes. He’s also an avid freediver and spearfisherman. From a young age Roger has fished in various tournaments around Florida. As a member of Yellowfin Builders Fishing Team he’s been lucky enough to win numerous tournaments over the years and as of recently the team had the opportunity to compete in the 2025 OWC.
