Jackie Dobrowolski (Burgunder) lives in Roosevelt, UT. I grew up in south western Pennsylvania and found my love of fishing on the Ohio River as a spin rod angler. Later in life I learned how to fly fish in Monterville, WV and fell in love with it. Shortly after, I went to the first woman’s fly fishing clinic where I met some lifetime female angling friends.

I was invited to the 2022 National Championship where I placed 3rd overall and our team took 1st. This began my competition journey as I went to represent the USA in the first ever Woman’s World Fly Fishing Championship in Norway. Our team took 4th place and I made new friendships globally.

In 2023, I married my best friend and we welcomed our future little angler later that year. I’m currently learning how to balance motherhood and competitive fly fishing. The friendships, bonding, team work, perseverance and love of the sport keep me coming back for more.
